@MOge, Yes, this game has a lot of bugs when it was released and gog don’t updates only so you will need to download all files to update. Try to use the No Man’s Sky (2.2.0.4) it is the latest we can find for now.
Never fucking mind this game. It won’t even open, crashing at startup just like Crisis 1 for Windows 7.

You will just need to download No Mans Sky Update 4 (2.4.0.6) as it includes all what you need. We have just left the other update just in case. And we couldnt find individual patch/update only for this game as gog releases this way that is why.
Need download Update 5 (v1.08) and Update 6 (v1.09); the update 6 around size nearest to 1 Gb aprox.
Sorry we couldnt find update 5 and 6 at the moment but do not worry if it becomes available we will post it 😀

Hello!
We’ve released another patch across both PC and PS4 which is available to download on both platforms now! Read on for full patch notes:
Fixed a bug that would make the player character small.
Space battles will now vary in size more and players should see bigger battles.
Fixed the instantaneous death loop that could occur in survival mode if you saved with 1 health and no hazard protection. You will still be on the verge of death when you load in, but it won’t happen instantaneously.
[PC] Fix for steam controller not being able to warp.
[PC] Removed up, down, left, right as quick menu navigation keys to allow left handed players to move while using the quick menu.
[PC] Page Up and Page down can now be used to navigate up and down in the quick menu.
Removed duplicated planets from discoveries menu.
Fixed an issue with redeeming promo ships in survival, which would result in the ship being spawned above the ground.
Fix for missing ruins underwater which could cause missions to point to nothing.
Various audio tweaks and fixes:
Added ladder climbing sounds.
Fixed base building prop sounds not playing when placed inside a Freighter.
Added sound effect for calling Freighters.
Added sound effect when using communication stations.
Fixed an issue which could affect ambient sound in Freighters.
Changed the sound effect when using the Terminus Teleporter.
Fixed some rare crashes.

I downloaded the version No Mans Sky Update 4 (2.4.0.6) (GOG). After install it and install the dlcs, the game just dont open…i research about it, but didnt find anything that helps me…my videocards ´s very good (Radeon R5)n 8gb and a processor with clock 3.8. This should work, but just dont open. Can you help?

Um, how might one register this game with the GoG client, without a code? Or, is there a keygen available? I’d like to be able to use the ‘verify/repair’ function of the client, but it asks for a key prior to that being available.

Yup, the GoG Galaxy client. I managed to make it read the game files and identify it as No Man’s Sky, but any further action within the client requests a serial/purchase code. It at least lets you play it, though, so it does partially work.
Sorry to here that it didn’t work coz you need to by the game if you want to use the client. 🙁

Sorry to bother you again, but apparently there’s a 1.38 patch from GoG. The latest one on here is just 1.3, so I was wondering if you could check to see if there are any available files you can add to it? Some mods and features/fixes aren’t available without it.

if anyone is having a problem with the game soft crashing as soon as the shadders were done loading like i was try going to the install location and go to the graphics settings in \No Man’s Sky\Binaries\SETTINGS\ and change boarderless from false to true, notepad worked for me to open the file
