Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings. Play as Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or local co-op) as you traverse strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil!

    • We didn’t encounter this problem when we tested the game 🙁 Please make sure you meet the system requirements and have installed the needed software’s from Microsoft (directX, Visual c++ and .net framwork.)

    • Appreciate this website and effort I usually just lurk and learn about these gog games, but today i tried torrenting/playing some of these small games (<2gb) like firewatch, cuphead, hollow knight, etx…
      starting up and playing some games worked well but others would bring up this Microsoft alert box, "the app has crashed" after playing the game for a few minutes, so it would render unplayable
      Anyways just wanted to know if others have come across this?

      Anyway, about the crash some games can be fixed by installing a software like – Microsoft Visual C++, Microsoft .NET Framework and Microsoft DirectX. Do you have them installed already? You can find download links our FAQs page you can go there for more info. 😀

    • I have to admit, it surprised me to see this game in here. It was released just recently and I would feel bad to download it without supporting developers, because games like cuphead is what I call a proper game, not early access crap we are being fed last few years from major companies like Activision/Ea/Ubisoft etc… Otherwise you are doing perfect job and I can’t even decide what to play first 🙂

    • Only if you use windows: download the files from another page, download it, copy all the files and paste they to the actual folder (wich you download here). every file that is already there DO NOT CHANGE.

    • dude me too i encountered the glitch maybe for example when i talk to grandpa kettle the text box/dialogue box is plain invisible or blank then when i go to the tutorial section every single text on the tutorial is plain blank too so i had to you youtube to get past that tutorial then when i finished the tutorial the bridge that will lead you on the way to the location of the merchant pig is also invisble but i can still walk through that then when you go to the garden where you have to fight the onion and the carrot they are just invisible but i can still hit them/ damage them but when then the carrot boss come it is so hard i also tried the run and gun level and also same results btw i tired the outdated version and its still the same then whem i download the the latest version whick is 1.1.14 i still encountered the problem pls help thanks in advance love your sites

    • this game is infuriating. don’t let it’s good looks fool you. the first level is crazy and I almost threw my computer across the room. i waited weeks to download and i should’ve known behind those pie cut eyes are gateways to throwing yourself on your bed and crying for 15 minutes.
