Enderal: Forgotten Stories is a total conversion for TES V: Skyrim: a game modification that is set in its own world with its own landscape, lore and story. It offers an immersive open world, all for the player to explore, overhauled skill systems and gameplay mechanics and a dark, psychological storyline with believable characters.
Enderal is free and can be played by anyone owning a legal copy of TES V: Skyrim. (No DLCs are necessary.) It is developed non-commercially by SureAI, the team behind the renowned Oblivion mod “Nehrim: At Fate´s Edge” (and various other projects).

– An open world with its own lore and hand-crafted, detailed and diverse landscapes – explore deserts, heathlands, forests, jungles, mountains, and more.
– An unconventional story with believable characters and psychological undercurrents.

how does this work, do i need skyrim special edition or is it already included in the files ?
We have included in the system requirements that “Skyrim Classic needed”
For anyone else wondering the same, this is on the GOG page:
“Skyrim Special Edition needs to be owned on GOG but it does not have to be installed to run the mod”. It’s for legal reasons, not technical reasons.
After playing Skyrim a few dozen times, this conversion mod actually got me playing it again. It actually is more difficult starting out then Skyrim but the gameplay and story is pretty top notch. Unlike Nehrim, this one is available in English audio.

I don’t think so… If you want to download this directly from GOG, then you need to own Skyrim on that platform. This is standalone if you happen to download it from a non-GOG site, like this one.
you’re saying that as owned in really owned in our GOG account? then what’s the point of having this since enderal is free anyways
We only offer this so that other will have option if they want to download the game outside gog 😀
