Same thing happened to me
As we investigate about the file we found out that the file is already broken at the time the distribution was formed. And to find out that it is only an ebook and it doesn’t really affect the game. Sorry about that guys until now the latest version we can find is v2.8.0.3.

I tried to download mods by the Stellaris launcher and it always doesn’t work because it is always offline, this trouble is annoying me, how ca ni fix it?
what do you mean? Are you using the launcher to download the dlc? We didn’t test this actually coz most of the game here wont work online. If you want to make it work online you will need to but the game.
Download them manually, put them in \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod and activate them at the title screen.
when updating from 2.7.2 do I need to reinstall every single dlc?
Yes you will need to update all and repeat installing process

Every time i start a game with any empire i always start with no starting science ship and construction ship. And even when i use the cheat console to spawn them in the science ship is the one working fine, but the construction ship is useless since the game for some reason refuses to build starbases and outposts (even though you start with technology that allows you to build starbases and outposts). Please fix that.
I do think that this also affects the AI empires. Example being that i never met any AI empire while 10 in-game years passed, and they should have met me long before.
Sorry BoomerTheZoomer, that might be a gameplay problem and we really don’t have an idea on how to play this game so we cannot help you with that sorry 🙁 We checked the version and this is the latest version on gog. 🙁

When I attempt to launch the game from the launch window it just gives me a red triangle warning that says failed to launch. Do I have to create an account first? or is there a patch to work around that?

Hello. Thank you so much for the game, I have finished downloading it. But when I open DLC folder, I can’t find the setup mentioned in step 2 that tells me to install add-ons, and I can only find the DLCs. Am I missing something?

You’re going to have to download it yet again because this release is buggy as all hell.
