It keeps saying that the disc needs to be inserted. As far as I can tell, there isn’t an ISO file included. I’ve installed it using the setup_tes_morrowind_goty_2.0.0.7.exe file but it just keeps telling me that I need to insert the disk.
That’s odd, all games we posted here are DRM free and you do not need any to make the game work. Are you sure you download the game you installed in this website?
i downloaded it and installed it but when i try and play the game theres just a low quality little window, my cursor disapears and i cant do anything, forcing me to smanually shut down my computer, any idea what i’m doing wrong?

It sounds like you have your resolution to small try and edit it in your video card or intel hd settings as for the shutdown it could be the video card not knowing what to do and freezing try an alt+tab or ctrl-alt-del

We didn’t encounter any cd problem on this game when we tested it this is gog DRM-free version so all you need to do is install and play.
Have you tried running the setup.exe as administrator when installing the game?
when i talk to jubius the character naming process does not appear.the keyboard is also not working.only the menu and consoles are working.

Great game, but Ald Draedroth seems buggy. After I entered the place the saves seems corrupted and I got error couldn’t load brown_rot, frost_resticanse75% and such at my save game. Also the stock certificate at EEC was not sellable, but by that point I was swimming in money so couldn’t care less, but still got error-message, contunie to run executable.
We only tested the game if its working but didn’t play all trough so have you tried running the game as admin?
Oh, no and I reported it as an error as I assumed it to be the least played area of the game and there are close to a dozen mods in play here, so I figured errors would likely occur here. I’m doing a re-download as most likely something got corrupted during download and will come back to this in a while. As that happened to Baldur’s Gate 2, and I had to download it anew to correct the bugs.
With any complex RPG that you mod or patch you should ALWAYS keep the original installer file. Re-installs are not uncommon…
Right I somehow managed to install the game, keep the mods and not the game despite that being contrary to anything.
This game was kinda released before I was born and I’ve never even played an Elder Scrolls game and a lot of people say this is the best. But to the main point.

I have downloaded and scanned this file. Two things to report:
1. My virus checker (Kaspersky) and Windows Defender *DO NOT* think this contains virus.
2. The EXE’s GOG publisher certificate is intact.
Anyone can post the word “virus” but it really needs more information such as what Virus Checker was used and what result was detected.
Don’t check with just one AV engine…
Go to virustotal.com and check the /crack” with 65 AV engines…
THere you’ll see if it’s just a false positive or not..
I said I checked with two.
And there is no CRACK file, GOG games do not have or require them. The only four files: the GOG-certificated EXE, a readme txt file, and two zip files with PDF contents (Manual, Game Guide).
The GOG exe is 1.3 gig. As such it is greater than the 256 MB Virus Total permit.
Please, in future, before commenting on a thread or issue please please please invest a small amount of time getting your basic facts correct. Otherwise you’re just spouting random nonsense and none of our lives are long enough for that.

Hello. Game works well, but I am getting a problem with the display. No matter what resolution I choose, the game doesn’t seem to want to display the game through my entire monitor. Like, I can see all the menus and such, but the game is only using half of my screen. Any help appreciated

It installs fine, but when I exit the game I have to redownload it. There’s no shortcut on my desktop or anything. I’m running it through wine on a mac, is that an issue?

idk how much too late this reply is, but for anyone having this problem, bethesda games are not designed to work on mac or other apple devices. i have checked this with steam versions of fnv and fo3, and they will not open and are in fact greyed out. when i hover my cursor over the games, it says that it is not compatible with my current system. i also have a shitty laptop, and both games, as well as gog oblivion work just fine there, so i assume bethesda gog games, just as steam bethesda games, work on windows only, although i must admit i did not test gog oblivion nor gog morrowind.
TLDR; use windows for bethesda games, ios will not work

Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry it’s my bad, you haven’t declared the game torrent as 1.6.1820. Other torrenting sites declare Morrowind GOTY version as 1.6.1820. The games installs and works fine but it is not 1.6.1820 version. I tried compatibility, admin rights later tried patching first Tribunal->Bloodmoon etc. I reinstalled 8 times each with different order of patches and tweaks. I don’t use any mods.

Installs fine and works fine but I can’t get the launch menu where you select Data Files, Options etc (NOT talking about in-game menu because it works fine). Other than that problem, it is version 1.0 and definitely not GOTY. By the way, when i click to ANY exe file including Launcher.exe, the game starts directly without the launch menu. I have tried reinstalling countless times and it is really annoying. I am starting to suspect there are certain malware and virus. Please Answer ASAP!
Not sure what you mean but we tested this and it works great on our system. Can you explain it why this is not the GOTY edition take note that this is the gog version not other like steam. 🙁
The game is in fact the GOTY edition as it contains the full game with the 2 official expansions + other official addons released by bethesda for this game 🙂 before stating the fame is not GOTY please inform yourself

Hi jonez! I’m not affiliated with GoG in any way, but I do believe that using a mod should work as long as you know where to store the mod data within the installed directory. I’m not familiar with the process, as I haven’t had much success with modding, unless the modding process is somewhat set up for me.
I’d say check out modding forums in the game’s forums on the manufacturer’s website. As I said, I’m not entirely sure, but hypothetically you should be good once you find out where to store the mod data within the game folder. Good luck!

Hello, I was wondering if there was just a version for the base game and no dlc? i don’t think my computer will have the storage to unpack the entire goty edition. Or if anyone knows how much space it takes up on the HDD to unpack the file that’d be great as i don’t have a lot of storage on my pc but desperately want to play this
