Being a DIK is a choice-driven adult visual novel following a college student adjusting to life at Burgmeister & Royce after moving away from home. The first year introduces new friendships, conflicts, relationships, and the opportunity to join the Delta Iota Kappa fraternity. Player decisions shape the protagonist's personality, influence character interactions, and determine story direction. Optional minigames and free-roam segments provide interactive moments between dialogue scenes. Multiple playthroughs unlock alternate scenes, relationship paths, and narrative outcomes based on varied choices.
