The events of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat unfold shortly after the end of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. Having discovered about the open path to the Zone center, the government decides to hold a large-scale military “Fairway” operation aimed to take the CNPP under control.
According to the operation’s plan, the first military group is to conduct an air scouting of the territory to map out the detailed layouts of anomalous fields location. Thereafter, making use of the maps, the main military forces are to be dispatched. Despite thorough preparations, the operation fails. Most of the avant-garde helicopters crash. In order to collect information on reasons behind the operation failure, Ukraine’s Security Service sends their agent into the Zone center.
From now on, everything depends on you.
– Photorealistic exclusion Zone – Pripyat town, Yanov railway station, Jupiter factory, Kopachi village and more, recreated by their true-to-life prototypes.
– Extended system of side quests.
– Possibility to continue the game after completion in a freeplay mode.

Have you tried installing some of the needed software from microsoft like DirectX, .Net framework and visual c++? 🙁 Old games need old version of the software too.

here we go.
Go into the game folder, the same way you would regularly mod, and instead of dumping the mod in the “gamedata” folder (there won’t be one on the gog version) you want to open the text file called “fsgame.ltx” in a text editor of some kind.
The file should have ten or so lines in it but you want to find the one that says;
$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\
in your version, one of the “true”s will say “false” you want to edit that so that it says true twice like in my example.
Next you save the file and go back into the stalker folder and make a new file, call it “gamedata”. You then place the mod in that folder as you normally would and it should function fine.

Have you try running the game as administrator?
Have you tried installing the game with administrator rights?
to make sure all the game works on your system please install directx, visual c++ and .net framework from Microsoft. You can find links and info via our FAQs page please check 😀
There are no available call of duty games via gog 🙁
Not sure as we didn’t test it that way but if you are referring on gog galaxy nope it will not allow you. 🙁
