Papetura is a handcrafted puzzle adventure game made entirely out of paper.
Along with atmospheric music made by Floex, it creates a mysterious and unique paper world, shrouded in shadow and light.
The Story
Papetura tells a story about lonely paper creature Pape, trapped in a flowery prison. One day Pape escapes and finds little Tura, a magical being that he’ll take care of. Together they will have to face dark and flaming monsters which will try to burn down their beloved paper world.

Papetura is an atmospheric adventure made entirely of paper. This is a game in a mysterious and extraordinary paper world, shrouded in shadow with glimpses of light, the music for which was written by Floex. Papetura tells the story of paper Pape imprisoned in a flower prison. One day, he escapes from there and meets baby Tura, a magical creature that he begins to take care of. Together they will fight back the dark fire monsters who want to burn their beloved paper world. The development team consists of the game’s creator Tomáš Ostafin (Petums), musician Tomáš Dvořák (Floex) and sound designer Juraj Mravec. The game has been in development for many years, and its creators drew their inspiration from such game classics as Neverhood and Machinarium, as well as films by Studio Ghibli and a love of architecture and paper sculpture.
