Stories Untold is No Code’s text-based adventure game inspired by the 80s TV series and the hit show Stranger Things from Netflix. The game is based on the series of the same name, which was canceled and never aired. The plot will retell the events of the first four episodes and the remaster of the pilot episode “The House Abandon”. This is a classic text adventure skillfully styled using modern graphics technology. Perhaps this “gameplay”, if you can call it that, will not appeal to players accustomed to modern graphics and game mechanics, but thanks to MUD and text-based adventures, we have such well-developed genres as MMORPG and Adventure. But all fans of the genre and pop culture of the 1980s should be interested. The official poster for the game was created by Kyle Lambert, who created a similar artwork for Stranger Things.

No Code is an independent developer based on Glasgow, Scotland comprised of Jon McKellan, Omar Khan, Geoff Angus, and Graeme McKellan with help from Lee McKellan and Jack Perry. Jon and Graeme are brothers, Lee is married to Jon, Omar and Jon have been friends since age 3, and Omar rides a motorcycle each morning much to Jon’s dismay. The team’s previous experience includes work on notable games including Lead UI Designer on Alien: Isolation.
