Crawl is a local multiplayer dungeon crawler where one player controls a hero while friends take turns playing monsters and traps. As the hero levels up, opponents lay hazards and possess creatures to hinder progress. Each round ends when the hero dies, rotating the role to the victor. The game emphasizes competitive, fast-paced sessions where strategic trap placement and monster control directly influence survival, with victory going to the last player standing after repeated cycles of offense and defense.
