Just Cause is an open-world action game set on the tropical island of San Esperito. Players control Rico Rodriguez, a secret agent tasked with overthrowing the dictator Salvador Mendoza. Using a grappling hook, parachute, and a wide variety of weapons, Rico can complete story missions, engage in chaotic stunts, and explore the island freely. The game emphasizes player freedom, allowing approaches ranging from stealth to all-out assaults across diverse environments including jungles, towns, and military bases.
