CHAOS;CHILD is a visual novel set in a post-earthquake Shibuya, where players assume the role of Takuru Miyashiro, president of his high school newspaper club. As he investigates a series of gruesome murders that mirror a past tragedy, players gather clues, interview suspects, and piece together a conspiracy involving individuals known as gigalomaniacs, those who can manifest delusions into reality. Choices made throughout the narrative influence Takuru’s perception of events, shifting between nightmares and daydreams, and directly impact story progression and multiple possible endings.
