Scorchlands is a relaxed colony-building strategy game where the birdfolk of Giwi establish settlements on Helia, a volcanic moon filled with untapped resources and unusual dangers. Build colonies on a hex-based grid, create production chains, and transport materials between settlements using advanced technology and magical lasers. Terraform hostile environments to unlock new resources, research technologies, and expand your industrial network. Exploration also brings encounters with local creatures, which are handled through tactical, puzzle-like combat focused on positioning rather than constant micromanagement.
