Lords of Exile is an 8-bit side-scrolling action platformer set in the war-torn lands of Exilia. Players control Gabriel, a cursed knight, or Lyria, fighting through eight linear levels filled with enemies and hazards. Defeat bosses to unlock new abilities such as dashing and wall jumping, and switch between melee sword attacks and ranged projectiles. The game features handcrafted pixel art visuals and a chiptune soundtrack emulating the Megadrive sound chip. Progress is saved via checkpoints, and players can revisit completed levels to improve scores or discover missed secrets.
