USC: Counterforce is a retro-inspired turn-based tactics game where you lead a squad of space commandos investigating an alien threat on a distant colony. You manage bases, balance faction reputation, and tackle procedurally generated campaigns. Environments are fully destructible, allowing tactical use of cover and explosives. Soldiers can be customized with hundreds of weapons and gadgets, each with distinct stats and effects. The game features deep skill systems that evolve based on combat experience and mission performance. Strategic decisions extend beyond combat to resource allocation and diplomacy with competing factions on the colony.
