WARNO is a Cold War real-time strategy game set in an alternate 1989 where a communist coup triggers open conflict between NATO and Warsaw Pact forces across Germany. Players build customized battlegroups from hundreds of authentic units, including tanks, infantry, artillery, helicopters, and aircraft, then use reconnaissance, positioning, and combined-arms tactics to capture objectives and defeat the enemy. The game features dynamic real-time battles, turn-based Army General campaigns depicting an escalating World War III in Western Europe, skirmish modes, and large-scale multiplayer matches.
