Empire of the Ants is a photorealistic third-person real-time strategy game where you play as 103,683rd, a warrior ant tasked with defending your colony and conquering new territory across a detailed forest environment. You build and upgrade nest chambers to strengthen your economy, defenses, and abilities, command various insect legions including starting, support, and super-predator types, and use pheromone powers to reinforce units, intimidate foes, or scout surroundings. The game features a story campaign inspired by Bernard Werber's novel series, ranked cross-platform 1v1 and free-for-all multiplayer modes, and a Horde Mode where you survive endless waves either solo or cooperatively.
