Ancestors Legacy - Special Edition is a real-time strategy game set in the Middle Ages where players command medieval armies in historically inspired battles across Europe. The game features four distinct factions, Vikings, Anglo-Saxons, Germans, and Slavs, each with unique units, strengths, and playstyles. Combat emphasizes tactical positioning, squad-based unit control, and terrain usage such as forests for ambushes or high ground for ranged advantage. Players manage resources, construct defenses, and engage in both pitched battles and smaller skirmishes. The Special Edition includes all previously released DLC content, adding new maps, units, and factions to expand the campaign and skirmish modes.
