Dead State is a survival RPG set in central Texas at the collapse of civilization: as society crumbles, the player must defend their shelter from threats while keeping themselves and their allies fed, equipped, and content. Inspired by classic strategy RPGs like Fallout, X-COM, and Suikoden, Dead State emphasizes clever turn-based combat, complex character interactions, and base building against a background of humans fighting tooth and nail to survive in the face of horror and despair.

I was able to download and install the game. However, I can’t play it. I always get the error 0xc000007b. I’ve tried everything that can be found on the net, and I am still not able to make it work. Any advice?

The game was not released via gog 🙁
The game collapses when I try to run it after downloading, to be exact it quits when I try to start a new game. Gives me the “Error Report” window after the first loading bar window. Hardware requirements are not a problem. Have got a win 10 op sys, maybe the game doesn’t support something. I tried all possibilities (setting windowed mode or even lowest graphic quality).
Have you installed the needed redist from microsoft?
