Spycraft: The Great Game is an adventure game in which players assume the role of a CIA operative tasked with preventing an assassination plot that threatens Cold War stability. The game combines live-action video sequences with digitized photographs of real CIA personnel and equipment. Players conduct surveillance on suspected double agents, decode intercepted transmissions, and solve puzzles modeled after actual espionage techniques. Moral decisions made during investigations influence the narrative direction and lead to multiple possible outcomes, reflecting the consequences of intelligence work in a tense geopolitical climate.
