maybe that was just an unfortunate choice of words on my part. I have no problem so far. I was only concerned with the game itself. That’s pretty big at 100+GB. and downloading it as a whole every time because you have already integrated the patch would be annoying. but that is not the case here. Patch can be downloaded individually. thumbs up! I was just too stupid to look closely.

Hey freegog team 🙂 The hotfix is not doing anything I run as admin it and pressed update and left it for an hour but the blue bar is not moving and it is still at the start.
Or does it really take long? coz in the patch log it says “error modifying”
If you are patching make sure you have all the patch needed for the version of your game and install it in order.
Hi Butch Kestoni, are you installing v1.5 HotFix (whole game)? If yes, please make sure you have enough disk space for the installation (in Drive C: = 117 GB) and game itself (117 GB) that would be 2x the size of the game installer.
Hi Freegog team 🙂 please help. I don’t know how to patch Cyberpunk1.5 hotfix. Does the hotfix take long? coz when I checked task manager the setup was unresponsive so I ended the task, then when I tried to open Cyberpunk it says Corrupted files 🙁 so i needed to redownload and reinstall the game 🙁 . please send instructions on what should I do to install the hotfix and how long does it take.
You will need to know what version of the game you installed and then pick all the patch you need and install them in order. If you skip one the patch might not work. so you will need to install them one by one until to the latest version. Hope that this clears our some points.

The game is so big so make sure you have enough disk space on where you intend to install the game and your system disk where the installer extract it before it install it so make it double the size all in all.. 🙁

to all guys saying that this is corrupted. Make sure you have meet the system requirements and have enough disk space to download and install the game it is crucial that you have twice the size on your C drive if you are installing it there. if you are planning to install the game on different drive you must still have enough space to your C drive so you can install it to your desired drive.

guys this is not corrupt, the issue only happens if the folder have long name or in a long path name, so make sure you extract it in a folder with short name and short path name.
The game crashes at start. I met the system requirements.

The game no have audio. I already checked all drivers and nothing solve the problem. Did Install, uninstall and do it again, but nothing happen…

CD Projekt RED has released the new Patch v1.63 for Cyberpunk 2077 which includes several quest, open world, UI, visual, as well as PC-and console-specific improvements and fixes, as it is rolling out on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. While there are plenty of changes, PC users will be glad that it improves performance of DLSS Frame Generation on AMD CPUs, which had been hit by stuttering issues. The Cyberpunk 2077 Patch v1.63 also fixes visual color issues with DLSS and Path Tracing.
The new patch also fixes Photo Mode issues, as well as a crash issue when using Razer Chroma. There are plenty of other quest, open world, miscellaneous, console-specific and REDmod fixes, which you can check out it the full release notes.
