EXAPUNKS is a programming puzzle game set in a retro 1980s hacker world where players write assembly code to control virtual agents called EXAs. Solve over 100 challenges by hacking networks, optimizing code, and competing on leaderboards in an alternate history where computing evolved along different paths. The game blends coding problem-solving with narrative elements through in-game emails, magazines, and a mysterious storyline about a debilitating illness. Progress by completing assignments for various clients, unlocking new hardware, and refining solutions to achieve efficiency and elegance in your code.
