SHOCK TROOPERS is a fast-paced top-down action shooter originally released for the Neo Geo MVS in 1997. Choose from eight mercenaries and head into battle alone in Lonely Wolf mode or form a three-member squad with different weapons and abilities. Fight through waves of enemy soldiers while trying to rescue Dr. George and his granddaughter from the terrorist group known as the Bloody Scorpions. Your route choice at the beginning changes how the campaign unfolds, encouraging repeated runs through different battlefields and encounters.

- Play solo in Lonely Wolf mode or form a squad of three soldiers for the campaign.
- Fight through fast-paced top-down firefights against the Bloody Scorpions terrorist organization.
- Rescue Dr. George and his granddaughter while pushing through hostile enemy territory.
- Select a route at the beginning of the game that changes the stages and progression of your run.
- Use firearms, grenades, close-range attacks, and evasive movement to survive heavy enemy fire.
- Play online co-op with another GOG user and clear missions together.
- Compete for higher scores and compare your results through online leaderboards.
