yep it does work i did a “test run” and it works i just installed the game not the patch and it works.
What are all those files that come with the installer?
Setup file, extra maps, map editor and manuals all in one folder.
It is a mess sorry about that. This is the latest version we can find.

Hey i’m running into a bit of a problem so if I could get some help that would be great! I downloaded a torrent of this game and it was working fine but then it started glitching at a certain level it would just crash….over and over….. so i assumed that it was the torrent and I got a new one but then it just run at very slow and unplayable framerate ill say between 12-1 fps I have no idea why it’s doing this i’ve tried three others including this one but ended up with the same results, I tried putting every graphic setting to lowest, restarted my computer….twice, and even getting desperate by looking into the files and trying to figure out why and I got nothing so if anyone can help me that would be much appreciated thank you 🙂

Sorry to hear that but this is the latest we can find. Have you tried running the game in compatibility mode?
You can also try: Go in the game menu in OPTIONS – GRAPHICS OPTION and change the resulution to 640 x 480.

I have downloaded & installed it. The game would not start & just keeps saying that DKII stopped working everytime.
We have answered some problems in the comments have you read it? please do it might help you by reading it.
I cannot try any of the discussed solutions as the game is crashing before starting.
Have you tried compatibility mode? DungeonKeeper2Lord claims that this work on his/her end without installing the patch in Windows 10. please read for more info.

I’ve went through the comments and tried to figure out what the deal was, but to no avail ._. I cannot play the game as every time I get the popup “The Application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022). Click OK to close the application.” Any help?

Have you tried running the game as administrator or in compatibility mode?
So the game seems to run fine for me, but for some reason the cursor moves at a glacial pace within the levels (though it works fine on the main menu). Do I simply need to download additional software to fix that, or what?

Game works fine on Windows 10. In order to fix “The Application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022)…” problem, DirectPlay must be enabled in Windows features. (Programs and features > Turn windows features on or off > Legacy components > Direct Play). I also set compatibility mode to Windows 7 and under admin privileges but maybe it would work without those settings.

Everything going great apart from the game crashing randomly. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Happens around level 6ish.
Also wondering if the patch needs to be installed or any other files need to be in certain folders for the game to run properly?

Hey, thank for this… freaking legend. Game is installed and works however just one thing when i try to install the patch it comes up saying “update is incompatible with with installed version”. Any fix for this… I have Windows 10! Thanks!
