Overview

About this game:
It is a time of great rejoicing in the galaxy. Luke Skywalker, with the help of Wedge Antilles, has blown up the Death Star. But there is little time to celebrate. The mighty Empire is gathering strength for a determined, all-out assault on the Rebel forces.

To save the Rebel Alliance from this Imperial onslaught, Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles have assembled the Rogue Squadron, a group of twelve of the most skilled battle-tested starfighter pilots. You will fly into battle as Luke Skywalker, to engage in intense, fast-paced planetary air-to-ground and air-to-air missions ‒ dogfights, search and destroy, reconnaissance, bombing runs, rescue assignments, and more.

– Take on the Galactic Empire in X-wings, Y-wings, A-wings, V-wings, and snowspeeders.

– Prove you’ve got what it takes against a slew of the Empire’s best and baddest, including AT-AT walkers, AT-STs, TIE fighters and more.

– Test your flying skill through extraordinary environments ‒ over water, through canyons, deserts, and volcanic regions.

– Astonishing 3D details include real time lighting and special effects (explosions, smoke, engine glow, tracer fire and more).

Minimum System Requirements:
Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10, 1.8 GHz Processor, 1 GB RAM, 3D graphics card compatible with DirectX 7 (compatible with DirectX 9 recommended), Mouse, Keyboard

    • Still no available download link for steamworld dig 2 🙁 but don’t worry we will surely post the game once it becomes available

  1. Game installs and loads up fine, but it doesn’t see my XBox 360 controller, which has already been configured and works in every other game. I Googled the problem, and Steam forums suggest running the Launcher program (called Rogue.exe located in the \Rogue folder where the game gets installed), but it appears that when this game was cracked, the Launcher program was disconnected from the game program (i.e. Rogue Squadron.exe). So any changes I make in the Launcher do not carry over to the game itself. This needs to be fixed so that people aren’t stuck trying to play this with their keyboard & mouse, thanks.

    • Thanks; it turns out I had to temporarily put Rogue Squadron.exe in Windows 98/ME compatibility mode and then the joystick worked again, and it stayed working even after I disabled the compatibility mode. I even added more updates and tips to the original GOG sticky topic which will hopefully provide even more help for people:

P.S. I’m not crazy about the fact that when I clicked on your link above (and when I click on mine now, or even just anywhere in this reply box), it opens up an advertisement page that may fool some people into downloading virus-laden software. I can understand the need for ads on your main pages where you download these games, but do your really need to extend this to your forums where people are looking for help?

      Thanks,
      Ryan

    • Thanks for the info Ryan 😀

We are really sorry about the ads, we have no control about it as we only added the code on the page. 🙁

Anyway, we already reported this with our partner 😀

    • i ve done a lot of attempts with oher oldie SW games and i saw a tip that come in pretty handy hope it helps, plug in your 360 controller everything hooked up start the game as usual go to controls and hit the “Reset defaults” and automatically it mapps the buttons to your actual physical controllers ive done this with SW episode 1 racer and others too should work i tried with this game as well and it worked good i have apretty decent pc ps type controller and it worked perfect with more than 100 pc and emulator games so it should work on a more compatible controller as the 360 one.
