Quake II RTX is a fully path-traced version of the classic 1997 first-person shooter, rebuilt to showcase realistic lighting, reflections, refractions, shadows, and global illumination. The free release includes the first three levels of the original Quake II campaign, where you battle through heavily fortified Strogg installations and work to disable their war machine. Players who own the original Quake II can use its game files to unlock the complete campaign, cooperative play, and competitive multiplayer with the RTX visual enhancements applied throughout.
