Downloaded the game, everything works except for a few things:
– Lara herself and some other characters are glitchy, they legit miss pixels or sth and it looks a bit weird
– The screen is not fullscreen, there are these two wide black stripes on the sides
– And finally, the thing that annoys me the most and makes this impossible to play is the fact that once you equip Lara with a gun, you cannot undo it. She keeps pulling it out no matter what. So what do I do? Please help. Many thanks.

Hi! Do you know how to make this game work in Win10 in 2021? 🙁
I’ve downloaded from 3 different place (including this one) and same issue keeps happening…
Video only appears for first intro and then cuts off. From that point on the video/audio isn’t working at all, but it starts playing when I open task manager and then stops again the moment I open the actual game screen. Also I can’t skip those video parts with pressing space like back in the days of XP. So I am doomed to go through them, but they don’t work… So the game never actually starts…
Hello Lei, did you get error code? we tested this again and encountered this error:
Generic Game Error
ASSERTION: ‘SUCCEEDED(hr)’ at C:\projects\tomb raider\Game\shell\system\PC\sys_d3d_vmr9.cpp(1569)
If this is the problem you have the all you need is tick on VMR9.
Here’s how you do it:
Run the game / shortcut a window or screen will open
Go to settings and click on the second tab (that would be your GPU settings)
Find VMR9 and make sure there’s a check besides it
That’s all and now try to play the game.
