Tomb Raider is a game that needs no introduction but if, for some reason, you are not familiar with the series, then these games are about the adventures of the beautiful, intelligent, and athletic British archaeologist Lara Croft. You might think that this job is mostly digging holes and dusting old bones. How could a game about that possibly be fun? Well, Lara Croft is anything but an ordinary archaeologist and her life is anything but boring. Lara Croft, tomb raider, occupies an interesting niche between Indiana Jones and Bayonetta: she’s a relic hunter who can kick butt and take names with the best of them.

When Lara ventures into ancient tombs in search for legendary treasures and forgotten knowledge, she must keep in mind that those responsible for safeguarding those artifacts didn’t leave them unguarded. The tombs are filled with deadly traps, bizarre monsters, and clever puzzles. Lara is not all looks, though, so she’s ready for the dangers that await. At her disposal is an arsenal of weapons from twin pistols, through all kinds of machine guns and assault rifles, all the way to grenade launchers and bazookas.

In the first game, Lara seeks a powerful artifact–the Scion–that seems to be the key to finding the mythical island of Atlantis. In the second game of the series our sexy archaeologist follows the trial of the mystical Dagger of Xian, which is a weapon used by the first Emperor of China, and it is said that by plunging the dagger into one’s heart, the bearer turns into a dragon. The third part features non-linear gameplay, meaning you can choose not only the way in which you complete a level, but also your next destination in the story. Here, you fight against an evil corrupt corporation–RX Tech– that has come into possession of a strange meteorite apparently imbued with unique properties.

    I am facing a very annoying problem. The game installed normal, but when starting Tomb Raider 1, the controller is spinning on its own as if the controller is locked, this happens regardless if you are using the keyboard or a game controller, the other 2 games work normally, only Tomb Raider 1 that has this problem, how do I solve it?

    I played the first levels for Tomb Raider I & II and saved my game after I beat them, but when I go back to play the game… my save files aren’t there. I did some hunting for them on my computer and found them in this directory.

    This PC/Windows(C:)/Users/Josh/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/ProgramFiles(x86)/GOG.com/Tomb Raider 1 2 3

    I tried moving the save files over to the game folder, but that didn’t solve the problem. It seems every time I click on the desktop icon (or gogwrap.exe for TR1), it reinstalls the game rather than opening.

    This is really annoying. For one, why are the save games NOWHERE NEAR the game files (I was told they were supposed to be in the TOMBRAID folder, which they weren’t). Second, moving them does NOTHING for my game because it keeps reinstalling everytime I click on it.

    Hey. I found a sound issue with TR1 and 2. In TR1 music tracks don’t play. I played the entire Caves level and I didn’t hear a single track throughout the level. But if I play the PS1 version on emulator the tracks do play. Now in TR2 the tracks repeat over and over again. It loops. And I can’t solve it unless I save and reload, but I can’t do that every time a track plays. So I don’t know what’s going on, if you can help me I would much appreciate it.

    You probably pressed CTRL+ALT+ up/down ARROW. Try to do opposite you did, to reverse the screen. It happens also to me sometimes.

    I donwloaded them and when i play the games it changes my seting on my screen and the ups comes down . What can i do about it ?

    Intalled it. TR 2 and 3 work nice, but I have no idea how to run TR 1. Tried a quick start on DOSBox and it says “Disk not found”. How is the thing with it?

    There are Apparently no Seeds Currently for Tomb Raider 1+2+3…

    I’ve been trying for the last three days to get it.
