Locke D'Averam is a Revenant, a warrior-mage resurrected from an earlier age and summoned by a powerful wizard to save the island of Ahkuilon from a mysterious cult. Locke has no memory of his past life, but as he attempts his quest, he slowly remembers the truth... and what really happened to his soul all those years ago. Released at the turn of the century, Revenant is an Action-RPG in a fantasy setting that offers a compelling narrative and an engaging experience. Locke's journey will take you across Revenant's strange and beautiful world, filled with dungeons and castles, interesting characters and secrets to uncover. What sets Revenant apart from other Action-RPGs of its time is its distinctive combat system, which bring its own unique flavour to the genre, providing an appealing blend of magic and melee combat that doesn't sour into the standard hack-and-slash formula.     Got loads of these games in original format so may be able to help out.. I use DosBox for a lot of mine now.. lol. Showing age now but I am 56 on 1st July and proud to be a gamer still.. Lot of knowledge here to be shared and I don’t mind helping out where I can..

    I had a lot of “This file is marked as read-only” errors during installation. Clicking retry allows the installation to finish. Can you check this out please. Many thanks.

    OH.. Un-installed and tried installing again.. No errors on 2nd installation. Can’t understand the error as have installed many GOG games with no problems – “Cornerstone The Song of Tyrim” installed fine from here and plays great on my lowly laptop… Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-5005U CPU @ 2.00GHz with Intel HD 5500 integrated graphics. 8Gb of ram.
    Reminds me a bit of Legend of Kay Anniversary on my PS3/WiiU. Both modded with CFW.. lol

    Will let you know if X360 pad works with Revenant as it is a much better game if you can. Will put this info in main post if that is OK with you…

      Works fine with X360 pad with no configuring. Will probably work with other pads if correct drivers are installed for make of pad. Joy2key will help if pad isn’t supported.. Very handy app to have for keyboard only games that might be played better with a pad.. Get it from here -> https://bit.ly/3h1zN2H

    This game worked with a pad when I had it many years ago on CD and with Win 95/98. AFAIK you should be able to use a pad still. Had a ps1 clone pad working fine with it. Just give it a bash as well worth playing with a pad. Just downloading now and will test with Xbox 360 pad. Will post here on outcome.
