Outlast: Whistleblower Overview

Whistleblower starts the story that led to Outlast, and stretches past the events of the first game to show the true final chapter in the story of Mount Massive Asylum.

Outlast: Whistleblower follows the story of Waylon Park, the software engineer under contract with the Murkoff Corporation who emails journalists around the world – including Miles Upshur – at the beginning of Outlast.

You’ll meet Waylon a few weeks into his time at Mount Massive, during which he has been unable to even contact his wife and son thanks to strict security protocols. Having developed a deep-seated distrust of the profit-motivated scientists and doctors leading dangerous and irresponsible experiments on their patients, Waylon ends up setting events in motion that lead to the unmasking of Mount Massive’s rotten core.

    help me,I can’t play this. The patch keeps on failing saying see the patch log. I kept on trying again but all I get is the same response. I can’t update it:(
    BTW the log says a lot of error adding: C:\GOG Games,File not found(for patching) and File not found(for copying).I already installed and finished Outlast,I haven’t deleted anything yet. Please help me:(

    when i click on any of the executables in the zip file my hdd usage will go to 100% but nothing will show up.

    Hey the patch is not working in this game. It say the file is currupted please try to obtain new copy of the program when i ran patch ? Then what should I do now?(i first opened patch_setup_2.0 1 4.exe before installing whistleblower dlc)

    I already installed outlast 1 on my PC. I downloaded Outlast whistleblower from freegoggames, but when i ran the setup it show the core game is not supported please update the core game from latest GOG patch. And there is patch_setup file also show corrupted when i open it. Then tell me what i do now..

      Have you run the patch first to patch the base game before running the setup_outlast_whistleblower_dlc_2.0.1.4.exe

    Hello, thanks so much I successfully finished Outlast, but I tried to download Outlast Whistleblower it not working. I download the patch and the setup, it always states error, check the patch_log. I don’t know to want to do

    I already have Outlast 1 without Whistleblower. Do I need to install this game with original Outlast files or do the installer contain an original Outlast with it?

      You still need the original outlast 1 to make this work. This only contains the patch and the whistleblower. please read More Info tab for installation.

    hey, just like one of the comments above has said, my setup and patch both also say that the game has not been detected. these are all the things i did. i first had the outlast game on my USB when i completed it. then i came over here and downloaded the setup into a folder on my pc. then since it didnt work i then seperately downloaded the patch but onto the same folder, and they both still didnt detect the game. so then i copied the game onto my pc and moved both the setup and patch into the game folder, but it still didnt work. i ran both the setup and patch as administrator by the way. and also i downloaded the Outlast game from this website. i seriously would appreciate it if you could give me a foolproof way to fix this. THANKS .3.

      Make sure that you have downloaded all the files and didn’t exclude it before you download it in your torrent client 🙁

    I have played through your Outlast game and still have it installed. I downloaded Outlast Whistleblower here but both the patch and other file both say that they cannot detect the original game. What do I do?
