Necronomicon: The Dawning of Darkness

Necronomicon: The Dawning of Darkness is a first-person adventure game. The game is based on the work of the famous writer Howard Phillips Lovecraft and his book Necronomicon. The script of the game was created by Annick Lemailler. One hot summer night in 1927, American William Stanton learns that his friend Edgar is hiding from him a terrible secret, somehow connected with strange occult experiments and the mysterious death of alchemist Gregor Hershell a century and a half ago. From this moment on, the hero’s life turns into an adventure thriller filled with terrifying mystical events. The player will have to go through ruined dungeons and abandoned buildings, explore an underground alchemical laboratory and look into the eyes of death itself in order to find out the magical encrypted formula from the ancient collection of occult knowledge – the Necronomicon – and block the way for the legions of darkness…
