Description

Maritime Calling is a maritime role-playing adventure. The player will play the role of a captain, will travel on the high seas and fight with opponents. The passage begins with how the user receives a small detachment of unskilled peasants needed to control the ship. The control of the ship is close to realism, the user will need to interact with the sails, rigging, rudder and watch for aground or capsizing. The environment is generated in a procedural way, which allows you to constantly encounter new locations and obstacles. The sea is filled with shoals, rugged regions, islands and reefs that can not weakly strain the ship. On board, you can set up a shift of employees, plan food supplies, repair damaged parts of the hull, or influence the crew’s motivation. At the start, the player will have an empty map, as it explores, it shows the places where the transport was. On the way, the user will encounter suspicious natives, puzzles and riddles. The materials found are needed to upgrade the ship. After switching to the upgrade mode, the top view offers to select the area of ​​the ship, and then start upgrading it. This will make it easier to survive a storm or shootouts with rivals. Flocks of pirates roam the vast world, but deadly cannons can stop them at any moment. If the ward dies, then the passage will end forever, without the possibility of recovery. Diplomacy and negotiations can help you stay alive or stay out of conflict.
