Between attacks, drill through procedurally generated underground areas, carry minerals back to the dome, and decide how long you can safely remain below before the next assault begins. Spend collected resources on stronger weapons, faster movement, improved drilling, repairs, and other upgrades while searching for artifacts and gadgets that can improve your chances of survival.
