Curse of the Sea Rats is a hand-animated 'ratoidvania' platform adventure set on a non-linear Irish coast. Four prisoners transformed into rats explore interconnected areas, fight distinct bosses, and unlock unique abilities to break the pirate witch's curse. Players can switch between characters, each with individual skill trees, and play solo or in local co-op with up to four players. The game emphasizes exploration, ability progression, and cooperative combat against supernatural threats in a cursed pirate setting.
