Crypt Custodian is a top-down Metroidvania adventure where players control Pluto, a mischievous cat who dies and is condemned to clean the afterlife forever. Armed with a broom, Pluto explores ruined dungeons, battles beasts, and gains new abilities that unlock interconnected areas. Along the way, he befriends other banished ghosts, solves puzzles, discovers hidden secrets, and prepares to break back into the afterlife's palace through nonlinear progression and player-directed paths.
