Gothic is an action-adventure role-playing game where players build a character, take on quests, and push through story-driven challenges. Gothic overview
War has been waged across the kingdom of Myrtana. Orcish hordes invaded human territory and the king of the land needed a lot of ore to forge enough weapons, should his army stand against this threat. Whoever breaks the law in these darkest of times is sentenced to serve in the giant penal colony of Khorinis, mining the so much needed ore.
The whole area, dubbed “the Colony”, is surrounded by a magical barrier, a sphere two kilometres diameter, sealing off the penal colony from the outside world. The barrier can be passed from the outside in - but once inside, nobody can escape. The barrier was a double-edged sword - soon the prisoners took the opportunity and started a revolt. The Colony became divided into three rivalling factions and the king was forced to negotiate for his ore, not just demand it.
You are thrown through the barrier into this prison. With your back against the wall, you have to survive and form volatile alliances until you can finally escape.

Download, Install, and Play

- Download Gothic (v1.08k Union Fixes v2) (latest). Wait until it is 100% complete, then locate the files.

.exefiles inside it as well.
- Run or double-click
- After the installation is complete, launch the game and start playing.

why torrent not working?
Maybe it is not seeded anymore.
Anyway, game updated to latest version sorry for our late response.
The game doesn’t run on Nvidia, it only uses integrated Intel graphics (which means it LAGS A LOT). Please is there some way to play it with Nvidia? I also changed preferred graphics card in windows options, but it ignores it specifically for this game only. I have windows 10, nvidia gtx 1660 ti, intel core i7. Thanks!

I downloaded the game and Installed it but when I opened “GOTHIC.EXE” nothing simply happens. However it is showing in the task manager but it’s very down in the list
I tried using compatibility mode and administrator control bout still it doesn’t open. I also tried using “gogwrap.exe” with same but It was still not opeing please tell any Fix or Solution
Have you tried installing all the redistributables from Microsoft? You can find all of it in our FAQs page.
Anyway, we have updated the game to the latest version we can find that might work for you.
