4th & Inches
4th & Inches is a 1988 American football simulation game where players choose offensive and defensive plays, control individual athletes during gameplay, and manage team strategy to outmaneuver opponents. The game features passing plays, blitzes, goal-line defense, and situational decision-making based on player speed and stamina. It includes local two-player matches for head-to-head competition and comes with the Team Construction Disk for customizing rosters, team names, and player attributes. Released on GOG via DOSBox emulation, it preserves the original MS-DOS experience with authentic 80s football gameplay mechanics and no modern enhancements.
