Pathogenic is a 2D roguelike twin-stick shooter where players control a parasite invading a human host. Fight immune cells like macrophages and T cells, collect organelles from defeated enemies, and graft them onto your parasite to build movement, ranged attacks, melee abilities, and survival traits. Explore procedurally generated microscopic environments such as the lungs, heart, and brain, face organ-specific bosses, and evolve your pathogen with each run to discover powerful synergies and adapt to escalating challenges.
