Dark Adelita is a fast-paced 2D action platformer set in post-revolutionary Mexico where players control Angela, an Adelita warrior confronting supernatural horrors from Mexican folklore. The game features side-scrolling stages across regions inspired by real Mexican states such as Yucatán, Jalisco, and Sonora, where players run, jump, shoot, and dodge traps and enemy ambushes. A varied arsenal of weapons and special abilities is used to survive each stage and defeat mythic bosses, including creatures like La Llorona and El Charro, in handcrafted pixel-art environments.
