How can I apply a mod by myself? I can’t figure it out in the files
hi. if you still need an answer after month – use RainDB site to download mods (use direct download), extract downloaded mod files in any folder. then place folder in Rain World – RainWorld_data – StreamingAssets – mods. you should probably name folders with names of corresponding mods so you dont get confused when managing/deleting them. after that you can enable them in remix options in game.
Not sure what MOD you are planning to apply but if you are referring to DLCs you can find them in DLC folder.
how can I apply other mods in the game? I don’t get it.
Besides, I should’ve warned one thing, RainDB updates every two weeks, so sometimes you may be unlucky and you download an outdated mod. Unfortunately, if this happens to you, the only choices you have are to either wait RainDB to update or to download the mod from its GitHub page (if it has one). :/
Some mods also were never updated since the 1.19.XX update, so there’s that as well, but in my experience some still work. Others may crash your game or worse.
You need to download via direct from RainDB according to the game version, you will have two options most of the time, 1.10 Watcher or 1.19 Legacy. If you are on 1.10 pick Watcher, otherwise Legacy.
Then, copy the RAR file to C:/Rain World/StreamingAssets/mods/ (or wherever you have installed the game, but StreamingAssets/mods/ stays the same) and extract it.
Afterwards, run the game, click the REMIX button, click the mod(s) you want to add, and click apply.

this current version is glitched, the watcher doesnt work (invisible, unplayable after the second room), watcher creatures are unexistant too, anything other than story and remix is unclickable, or else you get softcrashed.
oop: discovered on the newest version: disabling watcher doesnt fix it, you just cant play the game

uh, whenever i turn on watcher, rainworld becomes fully unplayable and i cant see my slugcat nor go to arena or anythin like that, in watcher i still can control my invisible slugcat but the second room i go to just softlocks me, any other slugcat i play with too just dissapears and i cant move nor do anything

When i double click on “setup_rain_world_1.9.15.3-dlc_(72330).exe”, it says source file is corrupted. I think i have trouble in “.bin” file. Please give me advice for that. Do i need to redownload?

i tried to download the file but its showing me about a file thats called ”OperaGXSetup.exe” and im sure thats not the actuall file for the game

the game doesn’t have online multiplayer, only local/couch multiplayer, so you’ll need to use something like parsec for remote play
