Welcome to Basingstoke is a roguelike that blends stealth, arcade action, and dark British humor. Players explore the apocalyptic ruins of a town overrun by zombies and aliens, scavenging and crafting over a hundred items from cricket bats to homemade flamethrowers. Sneak past monsters, distract them with noise, or set them ablaze using improvised weapons. Every decision carries risk, as a single zombie bite means instant death and becoming a snack for the horde. The game emphasizes tension through permadeath and emergent survival strategies in a satirical take on post-apocalyptic Britain.
