Peace reigns in the small Armorican village, where the villagers go about their daily business. Our two heroes, Asterix and Obelix, hunt wild boar, the blacksmith and the fishmonger quarrel, and the village chief strolls around the village square atop his shield.
One day, the village druid, Getafix, receives a strange letter. It is from Avina Gandir, the high priestess of Thule! She warns the druid of a grave threat to his people and asks him to take a mysterious Menhir out of its hiding place…

i thought on checking out the GOG verstion after getting this game on steam and refunding due to poor performance. seems like the gog release has the same issues. fx 8350 @ 4.5 ghz, rx 580, 16 gb ram, turned off everything in the settings menu ( if you can call it a settings menu ) and i’m still getting under 30 fps. weird that i told a friend of mine who has a ryzen 5 3600x to try this game, lags on his rig too ( ryzen 5 3600x, radeon rx5700 ). i guess its just a bad made game?
Not sure about it but maybe the game is not optimize for new rigs 🙁
