Developed with Unreal Engine 4, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada offers deep management of every ship composing the player’s fleet, both during and between battles. From the fastest frigates to the gigantic, miles-long battleships, the player will customize all aspects of his ships: weaponry, defense and support sub-systems, but also crew, captains, and more… each customization affecting the very performances of the ship and the special abilities available during battle. From battle to battle, the admirals and crew of surviving ships will gain experience and promotions, improving the battle-readiness of the ships for future, bigger and more dangerous battles.
Additionally an extensive multiplayer mode with persistent fleets where up to 4 players can battle simultaneously, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada also features a big story campaign, taking place during the 12th Black Crusade and putting players in the middle of the Gothic War that raged between the Imperium and Abaddon the Despoiler. Players will be at the centre of every fight, commanding fleets of gigantic ships as the Chaos unleash a sequential chain of surprise attacks on Imperium worlds – the start of 20 years of warring in the sector.

Space Marines DLC
The Space Marines are the greatest of humanity’s warriors, fierce soldiers that have been subjected to intense training, genetic modification, and psycho-conditioning. Their fleets are experts at close-ranged battles, sporting well-armoured ships and specialize in aggressive boarding techniques. In addition, they have access to two unique faction traits which makes them immune to insubordination mechanics and gives them the ability to prioritize their attacks on different subsystems when boarding.
The Space Marines DLC includes 5 different Space Marine chapters.
Tau Empire DLC
The alien Tau Empire has rapidly expanded across the galaxy, aided by highly advanced technology and driven by a total dedication to the Greater Good philosophy. Their fleets excel at long range, with powerful weapons dealing massive amounts of damage from afar. Skilled Tau admirals can eliminate the bulk of an enemy fleet before they can even get within boarding distance. The Tau have access to a wide array of upgrades and traits to improve their Torpedoes and Ordnances even further.
This DLC allows you to play as the Tau Empire fleet, featuring all-new ships, castes and gameplay mechanics, as well as the unique Warfare system.

There is a problem with this game once it finishes installing, it gives an error “The program can’t start because XINPUT1_4.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program”, well after I added that missing file it still gives an error which says ” The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).”
I know a thing or two about computers and when the missing dll pops up adding it back fixex the problem but not this time apparently, do you guys know of a solution to this ?
Please make sure that you have installed all the needed redist software from Microsoft you can find links on our FAQs page. Then make sure to run the game as administrator.
