Shenmue III continues the story of Ryo Hazuki, an 18-year-old martial artist seeking to avenge his father's murder and solve the mystery of the Phoenix Mirror. His journey takes him through rural China, where he trains in martial arts, works part-time jobs, and explores towns and villages as he investigates leads.

Take on the role of Ryo Hazuki, an 18-year-old Japanese martial artist obsessed with revenge for his father’s death.
This is the third installment of the legendary Shenmue series, in which Ryo must solve the mystery of the Phoenix Mirror. This artifact is being hunted by Hazuki’s father’s killer. Your journey will take you in the midst of a detailed recreation of the Chinese countryside, full of life and breathtaking landscapes.
Ryo’s adventures will take him to cities and mountain villages, where he can improve his skills, try himself in gambling and arcade games and complete various assignments, while trying to find out from the locals the truth about the Phoenix Mirror.
