HERE IS A STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL ON HOW TO DOWNLOAD THIS ON MAC (silicon):
I have tried to just download this and run it on crossover and whisky, but it doesn’t work, it’s more complicated. Here is a way that works:
1. Download VMware fusion. A tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuly1624mRo
2. I highly recommended to have an external SSD or allocate more storage to the virtual machine, as the batman arkham knight file takes up a lot of storage.
2a. If you have an external SSD, click on the button next to the arrow in your virtual machine to connect it.
2b. If you don’t have an external SSD, then you need a lot of free storage on your mac (100 GB+) and you must allocate enough to your virtual machine, so a minimum of 110 GB to your windows 11 c drive.
3. Download qBittorent on the virtual machine on a web browser: qbittorent.org/download
4. Download all of the redistributable and DirectX on the FAQ page of this website.
5. Download the batman arkham knight file above and open it with qbittorent. When you are downloading this and you have an external SSD, make sure to download this on the external SSD file path. If you don’t have an external SSD, you need to download this on a folder that you share with your Mac and Windows 11 VM. 6. Turn off your Windows security. You can find multiple tutorials on YouTube.
6. After your qBittorent has finished torrenting, open file explorer.
7. Go to the “Batman_Arkham_Knight_1.999_(74718)_win_gog” file and then run the application file to set up the game as an **administrator**.
8. Go through the setup process. MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE GAME IN THE FOLDER/SSD THAT YOU SHARE WITH THE VIRTUAL MACHINE AND THE MAC.
9. Once the process has finished, you can shut down your windows and virtual machine.
10. Download Whisky: https://getwhisky.app/ The game won’t work on CrossOver.
11. Go to “Finder” and then your external SSD where your game was downloaded. Go to “Binaries” and then “Win64”. Scroll down until you find the “BatmanAK.exe”. This is just to make sure that you did it correct.
12. Open whisky and press the plus button on the top right corner. Create a new bottle with windows 11. You can call it whatever you want.
12. Click the pin program button. Navigate to your BatmanAK.exe file and press the blue open button. Right click on the batmanAK square and press “Run”. The game will start.
