Omerta: City of Gangsters puts you into the boots of a fresh-from-the-boat immigrant with dreams of the big life. Work your way up the criminal hierarchy of 1920’s Atlantic City, starting with small jobs, recruiting new gang members and expanding your empire by taking territory from other mobsters. Establish your own crime syndicate and become the de facto ruler of Atlantic City!

Updated to latest (v1.07+DLCs)
Omerta City of Gangsters gave an error “d3dx9_41.dll” not found or some such rot trying to launch. I Found and downloaded the so-called “d3dx9_41.dll” and installed it in windows. Now I have an error upon launch saying “The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b), click OK to close the application” At first I thought I had forgotten to use the included patch the readme says apply which is included in the download before playing, but when you double click on the patch it states that it is already applied! It’s a good bet that someone at G.O.G. GOOFED! and provided the wrong patch.
I am also guessing that this is a random or maybe localized problem because I have read in other posts elsewhere that users with Win7 Ultimate (and other Operating Systems) have had the exact same problem OR no problem at all. I don’t know about anyone else (I can’t get it to launch!), but until someone can get some info on what’s going on (and correct the problem), this game is going on the shelf with a (current) big thumbs down.
Try to install the needed software like directx, visual c++ and .net framework on your system you can find download link on our FAQs page 🙁
