After a while, Ransom becomes a famous freelancer and one day he gets a more dangerous job than at TransTechnical. His employers turn out to be vampires, and as “payment” make the hero the right-hand man of the evil vampire Abraham Van Helsing. Fortunately, thanks to the chip, the protagonist manages to temporarily preserve his humanity. Now Ransome will have to prevent Van Helsing’s plans to seize Manhattan and Cyberspace, as well as save himself from irrevocable transformation into a vampire.
