– TACTICAL COMBAT: Xenonauts-2 delivers tense turn-based combat across realistic, varied and fully-destructible 3d battlefields. The combat is just as deep as it was in the first Xenonauts – but now you have a wider variety of missions to tackle, a larger selection of equipment to do it with, and more deadly enemies to face in battle!
– STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT: You have been tasked with defending the planet against extraterrestial infiltration, trying to hold humanity together as the aliens try to spark a nuclear war that will end our species forever! The Geoscape is expanded and improved since Xenonauts 1, giving you more freedom and more choices to make. Your interceptors will need to defend your funding regions against UFO activity, but your soldiers can also intervene directly in funding regions as field agents to support your strategic goals.
– RESEARCH TREE: Xenonauts-2 has an even more extensive research tree than its predecessor, allowing the player to unlock new battlefield equipment and aircraft whilst slowly revealing the intentions and origins of the invaders. There is now more varied and exotic equipment for you to play with, and players now have the ability to further develop technology and equipment they have already researched – provided they can spare the scientists!
– PERSISTENT SOLDIERS: Soldiers in Xenonauts are persistent from mission to mission, improving their stats and gaining ranks with combat experience – but their deaths are always only a single bad move away. Can’t download the torrent, as soon as it loads up the torrent program I’m using, it says and I quote:
“Unable to Load
…:F9DDA3D2C9AE71AE0AD4C20D1CE37 …
unable to parse magnet url”
I can download other games with ease, even the “wildcat gun machine” game, which was uploaded/updated today.
I can also download the 23.2 version

It worked this time. And no prob. At least you fixed it right away, unlike some private game servers I play on, the owner/s are super lazy in updating their servers, even after I’ve told them they need updating 5 days ago.

I’m now having another issue. after downloading the game, it is not loading at all. It’s quitting to the desktop. No idea what is causing it either.

I just thought of something. Will I need GOG galaxy installed as well or not?
I’m asking because if I remember correctly I had v22 installed before and had no problem, but as soon as I was able to download 23.4 and 23.5 I’m having the game not start up at all. And unfortunately the v22 isn’t on my computer anymore because I deleted it when I got the new version.
And I tried again and it is crashing to the desktop again. I also read on the game site forums that the game not launching issue is most commonly caused by some old files remaining in the directory that doesn’t properly remove when the game gets uninstalled for the update or something. Though that is through Steam the dev stated.
So it is still not working.
Then I got to thinking, do I need to have GOG Galaxy installed first or not?
I also remember that I had a older version… beta 22 and it was working fine, but I had transferred the new files over and it didn’t work. I deleted the existing folder and ran the game from the created folder from the torrent download and it is doing the same thing, quitting to the desktop before it even loads the main menu.
I had tried again, and it didn’t work. It did the exact same thing. Wouldn’t start. I had even tried earlier versions from here, and they also didn’t work. I went searching and luckily found a slightly older version (V23.1) elsewhere that worked.
Though that got me thinking, would I need GOG Galaxy installed as well or not for this version to work?
(I had tried sending this like 4 times and each time it didn’t send.)
We tested the new version (Beta 23.5) again and it is working great on our test unit. It started as it is and no crash. Playing it with no gog galaxy.
Have you tried blocking the game to your firewall, if you allowed it before.

The new version is still doing the same thing. And it has been doing it since the last time. Really annoying.

Can you please post your system specs? As mentioned before this is still on beta so there are still bugs you may encounter.
Greetings i have downloaded the latest version and the game is not launching at all, it just loads for a bit and then stops and nothing happens.My pc is running a Ryzen 3800X and a GTX1050 with 16Gb of ram.Older version could launch and play fine.

It literally refuses to start ive downloaded this some torrent off of two other sites and it doesnt work either but the steam demo starts just fine.
25.4 works fine but 25.5 is not launching at all.

It was supposed to be a simple port from 2D to 3D graphics but for some reason takes them years and years to develop

Apparently it won’t be anywhere near a complete game until milestone 5.
So just a heads up, you can’t play a full campaign yet
