Every time i start a game with any empire i always start with no starting science ship and construction ship. And even when i use the cheat console to spawn them in the science ship is the one working fine, but the construction ship is useless since the game for some reason refuses to build starbases and outposts (even though you start with technology that allows you to build starbases and outposts). Please fix that.
I do think that this also affects the AI empires. Example being that i never met any AI empire while 10 in-game years passed, and they should have met me long before.
Sorry BoomerTheZoomer, that might be a gameplay problem and we really don’t have an idea on how to play this game so we cannot help you with that sorry 🙁 We checked the version and this is the latest version on gog. 🙁

When I attempt to launch the game from the launch window it just gives me a red triangle warning that says failed to launch. Do I have to create an account first? or is there a patch to work around that?
Hi Phillip, not really sure about the problem 🙁 please make sure you have meet the system requirements and run the game as Administrator. Please also check if you have all the needed redistributables from Microsoft like DirectX, visual c++ and .Net Framework.
