Thea 2: The Shattering is a follow-up to the successful Thea: The Awakening, which brings the idea of innovative genre hybrid, with elements of turn-based, 4X strategy, survival, RPG and a card game, to entirely new and thoroughly polished level.

The player takes on a role of a deity from the Slavic mythology-inspired pantheon and as such, controls the fate of a small flock of believers struggling for survival. This goal can be achieved in many ways, from diplomacy to war, from exploring to conquering, but any playstyle will surely lead to completely unique adventures thanks to the procedurally generated environments. Rich options, from crafting to town-building system, as well as the co-op multiplayer gameplay, make Thea 2 an ideal choice for tactically minded players, who are up for a challenge.

    One of the most memorable and warm games, but sadly much less polished than “Thea 1” was. Still, it can generate some really cool stories.

    Like once i had a party with a witch + some unimportant +2 elf children, both elf children had good scores in mysticism with a help of witches cat familiar, they both grown up as elven mages (!). Not young elven mages, not druids or some other magic caster looser classes. Full blown elven mages. To put that into perspective, elves are most OP race, and elven mage is strongest class you can get for them. Even in ideal conditions, chance of obtaining this class was like 3-5%. And i got 2 of them in the early game.

    this game is fantastic, but it has a few problems

    some of the DLC ruins the game, for example, the first 2 playthroughs when a character died it died, but on future playthroughs, they would be resurrected as a stronger character (undead) .. this totally ruins the survival aspect and removes the difficulty.

    it’s the halloween DLC which was supposed to be a temporary event. but i can’e seem to make it go away.

    game is utterly incredible apart from that

    it’s kinda like sunless skies without all the slow travel

    don’t touch the event editor or mods buttons or you may have this same issue, game sabotages itself with a terrible mod and you can’t turn it off.
